Patch up Lawn Paint
| Q What is Patch up Paint? A Patch up Paint is an aerosol can of ready to use lawn paint. Its the perfect solution for unsightly brown patches and bare areas that exist on all lawns. Patch up Lawn Paint restores dormant, discoloured or pet stained grass back to green instantly. Q How does it work? A Paint is sprayed directly on to the lawn problem areas to return it to green again. Results are instant. Q How long does it take to notice a difference? A Results are instant. Drying time is dependent on the weather, but the paint is generally dry within 30 minutes of application. Q How long does it last? A Once the paint is dry it will last up to 2 months and can withstand heavy rainfall and general foot traffic. Q Will Patch up Paint stain? A Yes, if you accidently spray concrete, tiles or any surface other than lawn, we recommend you wash it off immediately. The paint is water based and will fade over time but staining will be semi permanent (for up to 3 months) if application and care instructions are not followed. Q Is it safe to use? A Patch up Lawn paint is very safe to use on lawns, it's non-toxic with a low odour and low VOC. Q Do I need to do anything to prepare the area before I spray Patch up Paint? A Yes please! For best results, the lawn areas should be mowed and any loose debris like leaves and sticks removed before painting the target area. Q Should I be concerned about weather conditions? A Do not apply paint to the lawn if rain is forecast. Whilst it will stick, long lasting results will be compromised if paint is apply in wet conditions. Q Can the grass be damp or wet when I apply the Grass Patch? A No. If dew is present in the early morning or it rained the night before, wait until lawn is dry if you apply the product on wet grass it will dilute the paint. Q When can people walk on the Patched up lawn? A As soon as patch up is dry on the leaf – approx 30 mins. Q How much lawn area will 1 can of paint over? A Coverage Area is approximately 5m² or several dog pee stains or brown patches. |

Patch up Lawn Seed
| Q How much seed will I use? A Approx 30-40g/m² of lawn area or 1 large handful of seed per m² Q How long will seed take to germinate? A Each seed is different, however you should expect germination within 2-4 weeks. Refer to http://www.patchup.co.nz/Products/Patch+up+Lawn+Seed.html Q How often should I water the seed and for how long each time? A The seed should be kept moist at all times to ensure a good strike. If the soil bed drys out the grass will not crack and the results will be compromised. In the height of summer, the new seed bed will require watering twice daily. At all other times one drink a day should be sufficient, but please do not hand water. Turn your sprinklers on when you are watering. Q Do I need to rake the seed in? A Yes – seed to soil contact is crucial for a successful strike. Covering the seed with soil or scratching the seed into the soils surface with a rake or a spiker will ensure best result. Q Will the birds eat the seed? A Yes –they will have a peck if there is nothing else better to eat. They will eat the seed on the surface, but at the rates we recommend for sowing seed there is plenty to go around! |

| Q. Do I need to water the fertiliser in? A Yes please, for best results water in well to activate the fertiliser. Q Will the fertilsier prills harm my pets? A No this product completely safe. Q. Can I use the fertiliser on my garden as well as my lawn? Yes – it will grow your veggies and shrubs as well as it grows your lawn. Q. How often do I need to fertilise my lawn? A Our fertiliser has a controlled release period of approx 6-8 weeks Q Approximately, how much area will 1 x fertiliser pouch cover in square metres? A Each pack contains approx 2kg of fertiliser and will treat approximately 60m² of lawn area. |
